Blog #21: Macica Cello/Arm Rest
Hello all interested in this blog.... Today I had a customer in for a good going over of a cello I had made for him 2005. The cello is doing very well! It is nice to see instruments that I have made in the past and see how they do just get better with age. This cello was my own model with the dimensions of Goffriller of Venice.
Today I have also finished up making a arm rest for the mandolin commission I have been working on. I think the hardware on this piece is really nice. The rest itself is made out of ebony. Sometimes, I am not sure if the pictures I put up are really doing the thing I'm trying to show you justice, but you can understand that the clarity is a bit diminished because its a picture.. Enjoy!
