Happy Holidays 2013 from the workshop

Greetings to you all!  I hope everyone is having a nice holiday season.  In reflecting back on the last year, I can say it was a good one, as well as a year of some changes in the shop.  The A-style mandolins seem to be the popular vote for the year.  These mandolins have a simplicity that I like without compromising master craft quality. I finished and am in process of making another Macica guitar.  I am enjoying the process as well as looking forward to the upcoming guitar making class at the Maplewood Center for Common Craft this fall. http://www.maplewoodcraft.com/ The handmade cello boxes have been selling very well.  I am thankful to Metropolitan Music for putting them in their catalog.  It has been a great asset for the workshop.
