A: Yes, I can customize an instrument however the customer would like.

A: Yes, I build mandolins, violins, violas, cellos, guitars, bouzoukis and viols.

A: They have been played at the Grand Ole Opry, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Albany Symphony, and many Bluegrass bands.
Q: Do you stain your mandolins?
A: No, I do not stain my mandolins. I put all my color in the varnish, I find it is more transparent and brings out the beauty of the wood more. Plus, I feel stain has a tendency to clog the pores of the wood.
Q: Do you make arched fingerboards?
A: Yes, I make arched and flat fingerboards.
